thanks for yr reply but its the front sidelight that is affected!!

Hi I am new to here got slight problem with electrics on my galaxy 97 1.9 tdi, It was pointed out to me yesterday that when I brake my front sidelight comes on!! - both brake lights are working. Any ideas where to start? Thank you.
