Any ideas how to change the resistor on the temerature control as well as the motor for internal external air on the electronic hvac

Hi Strange one my car lately at 5am thinks its nice and hot outside, the glowplug light will go out as though cars warm and it will start but it just for a second or 2 will be as though no choke, whereas the revs should be slightly up with a faster engine note, any ideas will be greatly appreciated. Sorry I didnt mention that bit, yes I was clearing as they appeared then restarted car but after a while would come back, I am however Going to put the front end up on ramps tomorow clear codes and try again, the only annoying thing with this is will I get a fault code every time fuel is slightly low as when I tried yesterday I had a fraction over half a tank Regards Tiff

Will check that out, thanks sparky Paul Also looking at above diagram, I don't have part no 7, and the nut on top of bearing, that goes on directly to bearing then mount sits on top of this right? Mine last time I opened was bearing then nut then mount then top cup then nut. Should the nut that holds bearing down have thread lock on there? I've bought new top cup and top nut and bearing nut from tps and it's not a (blue plastic thing inside nut). One nuts got a lip on bottom and one standard nut. On refitting I plan on filling cup with grease then using something like a Pringles can lid and sealing cups. Regards Tiff

Similar problem here. Can the bearing nut come loose? I have a really bad clonking on near side strut. Balljoint drop links and lower arms are new, sounds almost as though strut is loose, even on straight any ruts will make a clonking sound front front left definitely towards top, I'm stuck because it's definatly metal noise. When mount goes can bearing nut go through mount and hit top cup? Any help will be much appreciated Regards Tiff

Yes its still there with speed but less noticable due to road noise. You would think driveshaft. The whole osf wobbles under 20mph more noticeable when going left or up a hill. I am thinking poss engine mount as a few times when I switch engine off it feels as though there is a bit of movement.

Hi I have changed both driveshafts and center shaft. Im getting a gurgling sound and wobble from drivers side when turning left or going uphill. Only does it when accelerator applied and not when free rolling. Could top mounts be something to do with it. The reason why I discounted wheel bearing was because its only when foots on gas. Perfectly fine in straight line. Any help will be much appreciated. 2001 1.9tdi AUTO
