  1. Doesn't a locksmith (or what ever you call it, I am norwegian  ) also program this , and for less money than the BIG Ford? Picture of my key with the transponder taken out before putting it into an aftermarket remote... http://home.no.net/bilting/ford/transponder.JPG
  2. Maybe a little bit late but it looks like this.... http://home.no.net/bilting/ford/transponder.JPG
  3. Mine is a mk1 and it flash....
  4. Thanks for sorting this out for me :)
  5. I have climate control on my gal. Any ideas? dual climate or just single? i think this plug is for the dual climate systems, it's for a control flap of sorts in the heater unit Think it is the dual... I have two temp/fan adjustments, front and rear. NikpV- where did you get those pictures? do you have roof vents for the rear cabin? if not you only have front cc and the connector in question is not used, it looks like the pictures are from the TIS or the VW equivelent ? No roofvents.... so the rear adjustment is just for normal heating then?

  8. Sorry, forgot to write that. It is a -98 gal 2,3 GLX..... and it is now in my signature too  Don`t have them. Will have a look on the right side to see if I can find something similar, but I can`t remember seeing anything when I connected the remote ....
  9. Found this connector lying around in my left hand side compartment where the 12V power outlets are. Anyone know what it is for?? http://home.no.net/jacobs1/ford/img_0801.jpg http://home.no.net/jacobs1/ford/img_0798.jpg
  10. I got this sound on my gal too, but not every time I start. My Ford garage said it is the wheel on the tensioner that makes this sound. I got the belt and will try this first, the tensioner is not cheap!!
  11. Take a look at this posting The location for the holes for the brackets is pre-marked on the inside of the covers :(
  12. On my wiring diagram from the TIS it looks like the solenoid is powered by 12 V. Give it an impulse on the red/yellow lead, a continuous feed on this will burn the thing!!
  13. If you have a kit you do all the connection in the back compartment to the right where the car jack is. Everything you need is in there: +12 V, a negative, and you connect the switch function of the kit in parallell with the lock to the tailgate. Try reading this posting Guess someone has changed the ignition lock so that you now have two different keys.... :D Usually you should have the same key to all the locks on the car.
  14. Try reading this posting. Much to be found on ebay, and it works allright. Not operating my global closing, but I don
  15. Heard something about Seat going for the smaller, sporty cars. No longer doing the big ones....
