My Gal now starts fine but still having issue with the central locking & clocks upon removing the key from the ignition also can not open passenger side front & rear doors.

Hi all just wondering if any one can help, Ive got a 99 model Galaxy Mk1 yesterday while driving it the Temp gauge & Fuel gauge started reading erratic but thaught nothing of it as its happened before. I locked the car up as normal when i got home & all seemed fine however i went to it this morning put the key in to unlock the drivers door & noticed the little light on the door trim not flashing & only my door opened also the indicators didnt flash, I got in & noticed the instruments had lost power so the first thing that came to mind was a flat battery so i checked it & it seemed fine. I put the key in the ignition & turned it to the first position & the instruments came back on however when i turned the key to start position the engine turned over but didnt start. Ive since checked all stage 1 fuses & they are all ok, So any other ideas people please. Thanks in advance!

Hi all ive just wired in a universal central locking unit in to my mk1 galaxy it seems to be working fine but the window open & close function that works off the locks wont work off the universal central locking unit, Can anyone help? Thanks
