earwig

Hi all We have a P reg galaxy, it has been a good runner until the coil went, so a mate of ours kindly got us a brand new coil BUT the lead is fried- is it called a coil lead or an ignition lead the manual is of little help ? None of the scrap yards around Norwich appear to have one and the dealers seem to have no idea what we are talking about. Can any one help ? Thank you
