  1. Hi Xavier it will go into limp mode below and also above 3000 revs, especially on a motorway run at 70mph approx 2500 revs
  2. Hi There Hope you dont mind me joing your thread, but I'm suffering from the same problem, well my Galaxy, not me! I have a 2002 1.9Tdi, intermittently (although now more frequently) going into limp mode. I've put it on a code reader and I was getting 2 fault codes - 1 (sorry cant remember the code) to say MAF Sensor fault, and the other 17965 Over Boost. I changed the MAF Sensor and also cleaned the turbo via the air inlet with 'Revive Turbo Cleaner' a simple procedure to do. 1 am now only showing 17965 over boost. My next step is going to be to change the MAP sensor if I can find it!
  3. Hi Be careful of changing a part on the compressor, as it may not cure your problem. If the compressor has seized, I would suggest you get a new compressor fitted, but ensure the a/c system is flushed first - any debris that has caused the old compressor to fail, will then be flushed out of the a/c system before you fit a new compressor. This may be a costlyl option for you, so it depends on how much you want a/c on your vehicle. I dont know about the shorter belt option I'm afraid. Hope this helps.
  4. Hi Guys My first time on here so I hope you can help. I've just bought a Galaxy MK11. 2002 Model. The problem is intermittent loss of power - I have put a new Mass Airflow sensor on it 2 weeks ago, and it appeared to be ok. However during a 400 mile trip yesterday, the vehicle kept losing power, I switched the ignition off and back on again seemed to reset it and power was restored. Unfortunately this happened approx 15 times during the journey - any ideas? Cheers
