HI, thanks for your quick reply. Our Galaxy is a Mk2 2.3 petrol, but the 'how to guide' I think is for a Mk1 diesel, and it isn't quite the same. Since I posted the first question, I have been told that to get the ecu out you have to remove the dashboard top (which does seem to make sense as it appears almost impossible to get the ecu out through such a small gap). So still not sure which way to proceed????!!!! Thanks again.

Hi, I need to remove the ecu from my Ford Galaxy 2.3 2001, I have removed the speedo clocks etc and can see the ecu but cannot figure how to get it out. There doesn't seem to be enough room- does anyone know if I have to remove the dashboard first or is there an easier way??
