Cheers for the welcome, A tank of petrol in the c1 (35 liter tank) gets me about 450/480 miles so it gets filled about every 5/6 weeks but reading about the 1.9 tdi its not that far behind the c1 mpg wise and miles infront of the c1 in the comfort and room stakes. cheers Alan

Hi everyone just joined the forum and thought i would say hello. my name is Alan,,46 years old i live in central Scotland with my girlfriend of 19 years we dont own a galaxy/sharan/alhambra atm but we are looking to get one shortly (3-6 months) currently driving a citroen c1 but we are needing/wanting something a bit bigger and comfier and when i noticed the 1.9 tdi can get around the mid to high 40`s mpg our mind was made up.. hope to pick up a few tips of what to look out for when buying one of these cars.. cheers Alan
