Has anybody heard of the recent changes to the Ford Mulitmedia System ? I was told by my Ford dealer that Ford have done away with the IR headphones and have gone back to a wired system. Can any body confirm this ? Is the DVD unit still under the front seat ? I would welcome any info anyone may have. Many thanks Simp

Help Me ! Any info would be welcome here - The batteries went in one of the 2 black key fobs. Replaced and tried to re-programme both keys (other worked fine before this). Now I cannot get either to work ! I have followed the manual instructions to the letter but no good. Once I think that it is completed, I get 5 flashes of the LED on the fob and that it it. The door LED keeps on flashing away. Have I done any thing wrong ? Can any one help me before I get ripped off by Ford ? Many thanks for reading. Simon 2005 Galaxy 1.9 (130) TDCI

HI, I have a 2005 Galaxy 1.9 TDCI (130) Ghia. Purchased from new. Wheels often spin in the wet and I have just thought about traction control. Is this standard on my spec of Galaxy ? If have i turned it off my mistake ? Can it be turned on / off at all ? I would welcome any confirmation. I do not have ESP but do have ABS (which works). Thanks Simp

Can anyone help me ? I am about to install a hands free car kit and need to run the microphone up the front pillar next to the windowscreen. There is an airbag somewhere in this pillar and I do not know whether to run the lead on the side of the pillar next to the windowscreen or the side next to the door (under the material trim on the edge)? It may be a case of pot luck but given an airbag I would like to ensure (as best I can) that I am not affecting the airbag itself. Any recommendations ? Thank you. Simon 2005 Galaxy
