  1. I have replaced the bonnet cable myself. Its all just nuts and bolts, a fairly simple job. Took me about 2hrs from start to finish, taking my time with plenty of tea. The only tricky bit is finding the hole in the bulkhead - you have to cut the insulation in the passenger footwell and its a bit of a faff as there are lots of wiring looms etc that could easily be damaged. Got there in the end though.
  2. They go for about
  3. www.mytyres.co.uk will sort you out, they do wheel and tyre combos for winter. http://www.mytyres.co.uk/Steel_wheels.html
  4. 72,000 on my 56 plate 1.8 TDCI Ghia, had some tyres, front pads and disks, and a windscreen (cracked), and thats it. Drives better than new, 45mpg all day long, and is immaculate inside and out with no wear anywhere at all. Actually I lie, one of the overhead consoles needed a replacement catch mechanism (warranty) and the gear knob is looking a bit worn. I love mine and will keep it till it dies, undoubtedly the best 7 seater on the market!
  5. 17cm front and back (according to Ford accessories brochure), although I don't think its as simple as that due to how they are mounted.
