I have now made further investigations and found the following facts about the system: Serial no. VM-8008-5-M000440 Part no. VP7BOX-196375-AB Possible Ford Part No. 6M2J-19C043-AE It looks like the player was manufactured by company Visdion in Portugal but I cannot find them on Google Can anybody help me getting the passcode??? I have a Ford Galaxy 140 TDCi from 05/2007 with a factory installed DVD Entertainment system installed. System includes a player installed under the right front seat (not the drivers seat) and two flatscreens installed in the headrests. In addition it has two wireless headphones and a remote control. The system is totally independant from the radio which is a Blaupunkt Travelpilot with Navigation. When the system is started the displays show the request for a password plus the serial number of the system. Password need to be four characters. Can somebody assist me how to get hold of the password when I have the serial number? Please reply via this forum or directly to my email mbp@danaplus.dk. Brgds Mads

The serial number is shown as 8M 100 440. Can you help me further based on this?

Thanks a lot for the user manual and general assistance. However, it turns out that the 4-digit code provided for the radio is not the same for the DVD system. The screen provides the system serial number so I now wonder how to get hold of the correct code?

Yes I can use the radio without problems but I was not aware that the DVD system in any way was connected to the radio and navigation system which is a Travelpilot EX. But I did receive a 4-digit code with the manuals, however not sure how to enter this on the radio since I am also missing the correct manual for my Travelpilot?

I have just purchased my 2007 Galaxy with built-in DVD Multimedia system including two flat screens in headrests. Upon start-up the screens are displaying "Keycode locked" followed by the serial number. Also - when trying to insert a DVD in the player it is not pulled into the unit as expected. Is this normal and how do I unlock the system? As you can tell from above I also miss an owners manual. How do I get hold of this?
