Thanks for the reply. I was going to replace the fixed idler pulley as well as there was some play in this when I took the belt off, but it was definatly the tentioner pulley making the noise because i sprayed lubricunt on this one and the noise almost stopped. I will look into making the second fixed idler fit the tenioner pulley. thanks for the good idea.
