Well just a quick update guys, car returned three days ago and after them putting a new water pump on it seems to be running fine, had to top up coolant yesterday but told this was normal, the mechanic reckons power loss was down to the water pump too, as of yet I've had no power loss so time will tell. Is it easy to remove rear door card, got a annoying ford rattle coming from the speaker area??? Thanks for all ur feed back guys, :-D Andy

Thanks for the welcome Chris, and yeah I have been stopping when safe to do so and turning the key, having a smoke then carrying on with my journey, is there any thing they can do for this, like I said they've changed the maf sensor, or can the vanes be cleaned, ive no knowledge of turbos Thanks Andy

hi Amarok, No the temp gauge read normal and always has, im taking it back tomorrow it just seems wierd, its only just started to lose water, i do check every other day :-/

hi guys n girls. having a few niggles with my 1.9 tdi 2001,only had it a few months so its still under warrenty, car can be fine for days but every so often it seems to be limited for power stuck @ 2000 rpm, have took it back and they cant find a prob, i.e it didnt do it for them, they have changed the MAF sensor, next day noticed intermitant hot air through blowers, next time i take it out my tempeture light came on, checked water and yes it was low, topped up and that was two days ago, went out again 150 miles no problem up hills and down, now my partners texted me saying the temp light is on, any help so i can ask the garage
