ok will try the idle control valve tip, and see if that works. mind you my galaxy ticks over at around 800+ rpm and seems a bit in my mind.

hi im a new member, just got a 2.3 petrol galaxy, T,reg been ok till yesterday. when up to normal engine temprature was slowing down through the gears the car nearly stalled then revs picked up again twice in 2 or 3mins then was ok, but tonight whilst i was out the engine nearly stopped compleatly then just picked up again. seems to happen only when its up to its running temp. also anyone had to change a leaking power steering pressure switch on the rack, ie (how do you remove it and replace please) thanks....
