hi R4CH,ive had a new compressor fitted and alls well now.lovely cold air.cost me a bit but working fine now.

thanks Ffloydey,been to see local garage who services for me and he,said pop in and he,ll hook up to it and tell me the fault.rear wiper not working and wet under passenger seet .i been trying to get it going so i think the problem is to do with that as some members say the pipe comes apart and wets the control box under seat so it seems a coincidence that it was ok untill i was messing with that.and its wet down there.see what happens when ive been down to see him.maybe he can fix it while i,m off work this week.

sounds like the PATS chip mate.i just lost mine while changing the battery in my remote but looked on here and thanks to seatkid i realised it had fallen out.i searched everywhere and eventually found it and put it back and alls well again.before that it would only start and cut out and i thought it was reprogramming as i,d changed the battery.thank goodness for this site and seatkid as i would never of known.theres some photos of it somewhere on here under "transponder".its only becuase of them i sorted it out.mrs would have hoovered tomorrow and that would have been that i guess.jinks.

seatkid i second that your a gem mate.i replaced my battery and the same thing happened to me.it wouldnt starty so i tried reprogamming the key but no good.it would start on the emergency key but not on the remote one.lock and unlock ok but would not go.after reading your reply i looked and could see the pat was missing.looked all over and eventually i felt something with my hand as i was on hands and knees and it was the chip.put back in where your photo showed and presto away we go.i,m very gratefull to you and the galaxy owners club.probably saved me a small fortune at fords.thank you very much for putting those photos on its helped two of us now.well done.jinksy.

anyone tell me if parking sensors can be reset? light in switch flashes and tone stays on.was ok but stopped yesterday.front and back the same.book says consult ford dealer but anyone got any ideas.

just bought galaxy tdi 52 reg.ghia model but has steel wheels and trims.should it have alloys as its the ghia model?need two front tyres now so dont know wether to buy set of alloys second hand with tyres or put two new tyres on front and leave steel ones on.anyone know if it should have alloys or not.

it says in the book that if panel flashes for 15 seconds theres a fault somewhere? mine was doing it but had return pipe changed as was split and its stopped flashing now.

hi,ive just bought a 52 galaxy tdi and it cost me 360 quid including breakdown and legal cover.i,m 63 and also a hgv driver.thats from the go compare site and there was one for 300 but no breakdown cover.being older does seem to have some advantages! .
