Hi and welcome to the forum Engine ignition power relay 30 could be at fault also check fuel pump relay 167 as this could also cause engine to cut out. hi there is no relay 30 or 167 for the mk1 galaxy my book says upto 27 but relay 27 engine management for 2.8 and td it lists a fuel pump as relay 24.

hi all im in dire straits here ive just drove from england to spain with 400 miles to go whilst travelling at 80mph the car just cut out i rolled to a stop and it wouldnt restart for about half hour when left, i moved off again 20 miles later it did the same thing what i did in the end was stop at every services in france along the motorway and turn the motor off for twenty minutes then go again took us 13 hours to do 400 miles now the car stranded her i aint risking driving it home 1000 miles can anyone help its a 1999 galaxy 2.3 auto many thanks chris
