  1. I am indeed near Hitchin/Shefford. Luton to be exact. I do not own any Galaxies. I work on them. That linkage wouldn't budge, so in the end I got a new linkage. The linkages are not the same on newer models AFAIK. Even the MK2 Galaxy has 2 different linkages available. Do you have a salvage place somewhere? I use Barton Breakers for Ford bits.
  2. I have been trying since yesterday and its not budging. Even soaked it in fluid overnight. What I did manage to do was put it in a vice and just manage to move it up to the thread but it still didn't want to move hence why I thought maybe a puller would do the job but I couldn't find any long enough. Got a new one today.. cost and arm & a leg :P
  3. must be just me but .. puller for which bit ?? The linkage which is seized.
  4. Yup I have it, I've uploaded here: megaupload.com/?d=QND5CG81 Thanks a lot!
  5. Hi all! Can anyone recommend me a puller for this as the drivers side is stuck solid. I've managed to move it a bit but that's it. broke the arm too but will get that welded which is no biggie..
  6. Yes, these 2 probs can be related. Check all wires. Must be shorting somewhere for the fuse to blow.
  7. Update: The problem was the rear parking module (
  8. The mechanic needs to loctite that bolt otherwise it will keep coming loose.
  9. Hi All! I also have the same problem. I don't know whether its the module or the sensors.. I checked all wiring and its fine. I cant hear/feel any clicking from any of the sensors but the front ones which were colour coded are corroded. Does anyone know of any fuse or relay for the parking system please? Although I do doubt its a fuse as there is power going to the module.
