  1. yeah top two are a little crispy inside, where does the alternator lead run as i have not had time to have proper look yet, is that easy to run new one round. thanks again for the info so far
  2. yeah its 12 quid cheaper at vw, its just i was talking to an auto electrician earlier who said it had to be done at ford as needed reprogramming after. do you have to disconnect battery or can you just swap as is matt
  3. new on here so forgive me if i am going over something you have already covered. my fuse box in the engine bay has started the old melting trick, everything is still working ok at minute so only using for short journeys and checking regular. what i am asking is that is replacing the fuse box a straightforward switch or is reprogramming and suchlike needed? i am aware i would have to relace the alternator wire as well and potentially the wire going back to the loom (top two wires i believe) for info this is a 2001 galaxy ghia 2.3 cheers Matt
