It should be on the outside edge of the cover although may have got ripped off Does it say the BHP in your V5 no but i'm 98% sure its 109/110 regards g

sorry had a look on car but not great with cars and can't seem to find.do i have to remove plastic cover on top of engine to view? also its a vw zetec engine if that info is any good? otherwise will have to inspect it more tomorrow thanks gary

on reg doc says engine number is xy36282 if that helps thanks gary

thanks for reply amarok in my owners guide it states that fuse 14 is 10 or 20 amp and is fuel supply [turbo diesel], fuel injection, engine management,secondary air injection[petrol engine]have i got the wrong owners guide? where best should i look for reason fuse blows? if you have any ideas much appreciated as the car drives well apart from this and can't really afford to change it at the moment

hi i have a 1.9 tdi auto 1999 which has started to blow fuse no' 14 under the steering wheel, it's intermitant and when it blows i lose complete power often happens but not exclusively when waiting at junctions. when i replace fuse it normally runs ok for while perhaps as long as 2/3 weeks any ideas where to look? any help much appreciated
