Hi, Just bought Galaxy 2001. I knew there was a problem with the aircon (fan would only switch on position 4 and the aircon turns on on position 1 but turns off when you switch it to 2,3 or 4) and was told that the resistor needed to be changed. I replaced it with the new one from official ford dealer and although it did rectify the fan issue, unfortunately, the aircon problem remained unsolved - works (or at least the light is on) at position 1 only and turns off when switched to any other position. Any ideas what might be a problem and how to fix it? Please help as I can no longer stand driving on motorway with open windows. Thanks a lot!
