I would put my money on the throttle flap. next time it does not start investigate if it is sticking. Not sure how expensive it is to buy.

You may have to loosen the bolt more, then push it down.

An answer to solve any problem! On the 08 owards a common failure seems to be the aircon pipe going into the rear compartment evaporator.

Mine has failed on the passenger side. It will stay in the lower position, but not at any other. I may try the warranty route - but will not hold my breath.
