the switch had two wires going to it , if any help ,

now been informed theres actually two switches one for cruise control and one for brake lights ?? the first one closest to the pedal i removed thinking it was brake light switch..........with a threaded section on it to adjust freeplay

Ok lovely thank you , wasnt sure if was earth fault at first as used to smaller cars with single tail light!

can you confirm if there should be two tail lights per a side or one?

got a problem with rear brake lights on family memembers car , ARE the 21/5 watt bulbs , ment to be side tail light and brake light ? both the side light 5w bulb and the 21/5w bulb is coming on , how ever cannot get the bulbs to opperate , new bulbs have been fitted , wiring to switch removed and bridged , and still nothing regarding getting the brake lights to work , all the lights are on but dash indicates fault with both bulbs also
