main issue on these Galaxies is the Powershift Gearbox we do Auto transmissions and deal with these a lot. Ask them if the car has had a new gearbox fitted try to get one that HAS. We work on these all the time usually the high mileage ones start to judder as wet clutch gets old or if they are low mileage with problems can be mechatronic related in most cases but ford prices are crazy £1350 inc should be cost to change mechatronic unit 07 877313910 if you want some advice
