  1. Tried to fit a new maf and now have the engine management light on. Tried to read the system with vag com but have not had any luck, tried the OBD function using VCDS Lite but not having any luck Any ideas Have put the old MAF back in a nd car is running fine.
  2. Thanks for that, had me worried and thought I was going made.
  3. Working on the engine today I came across this what I believe is an air or vacum line by the throttle, injectors (see picture) with a bolt stuck in the end. Have checked around and cant find where it goes? Any suggestions. doesnt seem to make any differenece if its blocked or unblocked.
  4. Hi all, Found out the fault was to do with low battery power, I know the car had been off the road for about 6 months. Has been reset and has not come back. Thanks for the input.
  5. Hi all, got the air bag light on and have check it via the vag com port. What i am getting is as follows; 00532 Supply Voltage B+ -7-10 Signal too low - intermittant and 01312 Shareware version to decode all stc's 37-10 please register, so think this one is after registration fee. Any ideas on sorting the top one?
  6. Thanks for the response, have a new set of plugs so will give that a go first and have ordered a cable from good old ebay. So will work through your list of suggestions
  7. Can anyone make a suggestion. I just purchased a Galaxy Mk2 W reg 2.3 Zetec for towing. Whilts the car seem fine on its own when I have the caravan on i dont seem to have much power and I am struggling to get to 60 and hold it, is fine at 55 when i excelerate the engine makes what i can only describe as a loud pinking / rattling, this goes if i back of the excelerator. Also I dont semm to be able to get more than 3500 revs? Car has just passed its mot with good gas readings, going to change the plugs, any other suggestions Also i have an Airbag warning up on the dash and not sure whta to read it with.
