Since my Galaxy has been sitting for a week I seem to have an electrical issue. When I brake my dashboard lights come on, they go off as soon as the brake is released. Does anyone have any ideas? Many thanks.

Can anyone give any idea why my trip meter on my 1999 Tdi keep reseting itself, first happened about 2 weeks ago and now just seems to happen no apparent reason on anything from 4 miles upward. Many thanks.
