Hi all, New to the site. Last winter we had the key got stuck in the drivers lock when trying to open the door. I managed to get the key out but now the door is permanently locked. When I put the key in it just spins in the lock. Today (16th April 2011) I decided to take a look behind the door panel and have a mess around with the lock and hey presto the door unlocked - but.....................the electric windows went off. To put the windows back up I had to lock the car from the passenger side - windows went back up but the drivers door would not lock. With assistance while the windows were down, I stood at the passenger side while a friend pushed the handle in to locked the doors. Everything locked, windows up until I tried to open the car again. Windows worked but drivers door permanently locked again. HELP this is doing my head in. Plus I want to sell the car as spares or repair and it wont sell with a locked door.
