OK job completed tonight in 2 hours the drivers spindle was seized solid and took some getting out (how this was working last week well is beyond me :) ).... any way reassembled everything copper slipped and now working well :)

Wow 3 months into ownership of my 2006 1.9 tdi 130 (38,000miles) and i noticed the wipers struggling to "swish" there full range, now you have probably gathered I am not massivley mechanically minded, but looked on this site and clearly need to regrease the linkage fast- I am wanting to do this myself but cannot budge the wiper arms off there mounts. Blathered them in 3 in 1 and wd40 overnight removed nuts and they wont budge???? Re attatched nuts so i could use my hammer to give them a tickle - nadder???? Please someone put me out of my misery before the rain comes, how do i get the arms off please :wacko:
