Hi All Since joining this forum i have become confident with most jobs from not having a clue so thanks all for that. Now has anybody used Durafix alloy weld as i was goining to give it a go on the air con suction pipe good idea or not Thanks in advance Adam

Done all that new maf fuel filter it was a rubber hose conected to the turbo take the tray off and theres a little rubber hose that needs to be conected to a hose near the brake fluid container took me 4 hours to find and solve the problem worth a look

Hi All Removed glove box able to do this after reading notes on here so thanks everyone Petty thing really does the trim pannel fit behind or in front of the glove box as it seems to be vibrating Cheers

Fixed After hours of taking pipes off cleaning bits cutting my hands to shreads found a hole in a metal pipe at the back of the engine half way up really difficult to get at chucked some gum stuff in wrapped a bandage round it bingo fixed Thanks to everybody for advice must have saved a few quid so untill next time Thanks again adam

No have had the car for 30 000 miles yes the noise has just started and its losing power going up hill and its starting to sound like a tractor any ideas cheers mate

Every seems ok could it be dirty injectors or something with the exhaust what am ilooking for holes in pipes Thanks for any help Adam

HI ALL Every time i put my foot down i get a sound like air escaping ihave checked a lot of the pipes they all seem to be ok. How do i remove the tray under the engine think im going to have to buy some sort of car jacks so i can get underneath. I would like to thank you all i did not have a clue about cars but thanks to this web site iv been soldering wires changing oils and brakes. So thanks in advance 2001 tdi auto 115 adam

I am no nechanic but that happened to me i had to reset the immobilizer one key in the ignition another in the door turn key in door hold it for 30 seconds see what happens
