Have ford galaxy 1.9TDI 2012 registration and had engine malfunction light on with error code P244C -exhaust temperature too low for particulate filter regeneration bank 1. This is code I got when plugged in diagnostics. Have had a deep cleanse of DPF where halfords inject foam into DPF itself and heat this up to burn off any deposits but this has not worked. Could it therefore be sensors and how does one check what problems are as car behaves fine when running with no loss of power

Have Galaxy mk3 and may have problems with auxillary 12v port have iPhone car charger and replaced this twice but gave problem. When connected light on charger is on and also it shows phone charging but this is not the case as the percentage of charge drops until low battery appears. Thought it was car charger but tried this in another car with my phone and seems ok Trying to find what's wrong with 12v port as 12v seems to be coming out???

Have Ford galaxy 1.9TDCI Powershift automatic and seems fine except when starting to accelerate from start off. If I put foot on pedal I have to slowly accelerate which seems fine, but if I want to drive as I used to and just place foot on accelerator normally or quickly it tends to be jerky similar to one driving a manual car, putting it in first and releasing clutch pedal quickly. Any thoughts or is it just because its Powershift model. Has been thoroughly serviced in the past and I recently purchased this car

I have fordgalaxy mk2 2.3 petrol auto and engine management light came on with fault code P0402 Catalyst system efficiency below threshold bank 1 Not sure if it I cat underneath car as was told it could be by garage but could it be EGR valve? what tests can I do to make sure its cat and nothing else

My galaxy mk2 stutters whenever I going up incline and need accelerate more or when I suddenly accelerate for example from lights. What could this be. It's started in past few weeks but and happens 50% of time

After starting car and after about 3 seconds I hear a tapping noise from around engine but it sounds like a ratchet noise but lasts for only 3 seconds . Just wondered what this could be as it does not sound like tappet noise?

have fault with parking sensors in that cannot hear ticking noise at all and also continuous beep. i have tried to connect diagnostic tool OBDII device but where do i look for codes as cannot find any???? and no trouble codes appear on device

i have a 2003 galaxy and the remote central locking only works from the boot lock. if i try to lock or open the car from either drivers side or passenger side when key is inserted it just turns around and around and nothing happens. The key can rotate 360 degrees continuously but this will not lock or unlock doors and no sounds or engagment from door. only way to open car or lock it is from boot. Any ideas appreciated and how to repair this. This problem i knew about when i purchased the car. doors unlock and lock once inside the car as well

i looked but it seems not allen keys at all. The surface is completely flat. how is this device attached. can radio be removed with just using 3 release keys in the 3 holes??????

Just purchased a galaxy and i have the 2 keys to release radio either end as i need to get radio out to get the code so need serial number. Unfortunateley i notice that one of the holes is blocked as though metal inserted inside it but it is fklush with the hole in the radio and smooth. is this a security thing and if so how do i remove this metal ' thing' in one of the holes. thank you
