For sale to the best offer is a Ford Galaxy Mk1&2 child seat in gray upholstry,only available for collection from Rochdale as its too heavy to post. Will not fit my MkIII !!! Had a word with my man at Dealership today. Its due to the gasket round the window expanding when in hot weather. This causes a pressure on the window motor which activates the window safety mechanism which sends the window back down. It is overridden after the third attempt to close. He said he'd adjusted it but I don't know....the sun has not shined to bright since the problem occurred. I will keep you posted. Luke

I had exactly the same fault. Same model and year. took it back yet again to the dealer, 10 trips in first year !!!! seems to have corrected the problem....fingers crossed. Currently negotiating getting rid of this lemon.

Did All the internet bit when buying my 07 Galaxy in June ... OMC Rochdale (Stuart New Cars sales manager) 01706 654424 did the best deal of them all. Always swings & roundabouts with the PX etc But I got a great deal off these guys (3rd Galaxy) Give them a call

LX & Zetec have a manual opening the Ghia said in the brochure Electric available 4th Qtr 2006 (No Option listed) I ordered in May 2007 arrived Late June Electric motors in place but no switchs!!!! therfore no opening!!! I have told the dealership to order the overhead switch unit and finnish the job. My Old 04 plate had them fitted as standard. More disinformation re Telephone cradle which is about to be pulled due to all the hasstle with all the different types of mobile etc

No problem. I picked up all the parts from Quick Co in Manchester who supply all the main dealerships. Flash the cash and they will sell you anything You can buy a cover on e bay but the brackets will have to be from Quick Co. If you know anyone with a cover fitted get them to park near your Bus so you can locate the possition of the retaining bracket. Now the brave bit !!! Get a stanly knife and cut a hole about 1 1/2 inch in diam. to reveal a bracket which the retaining bracket has to be attached to you might have to cut a little more away as to allow you to fit it but everything required was in the bag from Quick Co. Easy....and no removal of the panels etc as Quoted by Ford :) Good luck....Luke
