Hi I've just bought my mk11 gal and it came with a 6000 rds. I want to upgrade to a factory fitted style dvd system with the screens in the headrest. Would anyone know somewhere to source it at a good price. Also just wondering how hard it would be to fit or whether i should leave it to the profesionals?

 

P.S. I must say that this is probably the best forum i have used. I'm glad i bought a Gal now.

before you replace the switch,check for any frayed/broken wires in the door gaitor,known problem.do all your windows work using global closing/opening?

Just tried the global opnening and the drivers window doen't work but others do. I guess this points to the wires being broken. Would anyone know how to get into the gaitor as the car is in good nick and want to keep it that way?

I have a mk11 Tdi zetec. The drivers side E/W 2 way switch plus central locking buttons are not working. I was just wandering if there is a common fault with them that i could fix myself or normally have to replace. Also how do you get to the switch?
