hi, ive got a 2001 mk2 2.3 manual galaxy,when you put the heater on you get a foul smell like a curry/antifreeze odour the car does not use water and carpets are dry any one know or had this problem cheers

hi, ive got a 2001 mk2 2.3 manual galaxy,when driving or sat revving the engine with lights on all the electrics flicker if you put screen heaters on it makes it a lot worse and some times when you drive the car starts yuking with the flickering,i know there is a ford service buliten about it some thing to do with a thin red wire on alternator or some thing but mine has only got a thin blue wire and the thick red live wire on the alternator hope all this makes sence any help would be much appreciated thank you
