hi Paul, i can't see or feel any damage on the coil spring, the rattle has developed a squeak when going over bumps. Do you know how easy it is to change the bearing and top mount rubber? Hi There, I'm new to this forum and hope that one of you kind people can help me. Problem is with a Volkswagen Sharan 2.0L mk2 on 2001 x reg. I pulled into a car park near my job centre this morning and as i pulled into the space there was a loud twang noise from the nearside front suspension area. Now when i put full lock on in either direction i get the noise plus as i drive along there is a rattling noise from behind the dashboard on the nearside. Any information on this would be gratefully recieved. many thanks for reading this post mark partsman1978portsmouth
