All sorted. Disconected the battery to do a job then reconected it. Remote works fine now.

My key fob has stoped working ( remote opening and locling the doors ) but still starts the car. I have replaced the battery and tryed the procces described above to reprogram the key but to no efect. I only have 1 remote key and 1 standard, is this why its not working or am I doing it wrong . I have tryed the remote key and the standard but I dont get a beep after turning the ignition to II four times. HELP.
