How did you remove the navi. I have a DX navigation and need to remove the radio in order to fix the same problem as you have. The clock in the middle of the dashboard isn't working and my radio is asking for the code each time I start the car, and very often I also get the error safe pin not connected.. Argh... :unsure: Please advice about fuse number or wire... any ideas are more than welcome /John

I don't see the holes.. I might be blind, but sometimes its hard to see the trees when the forest is blocking the view :unsure: I have attached a picture of the unit. /John

For about 2 months ago my radio started requesting the safe code each time I have had stopped the engine. I enter the code and its ready again, but why? Sometimes, more and more often I also the the error: "Safe pin not connected" or similar. Then I press OK 1, 2 or 20 times (while waiting a couple of seconds each time) and the it starts. The car is a Ford Galaxy 03/2001 from Germany and the radio is the double din navigation system with cd-changer in the back. I wanted to remove the radio but cannot figure out how to do so. When removed, I wanted to test if the power is connected of a fuse is blown. Is there a battery build into the radio? anybody with instructions on how to remove the radio? Please let me have your comments. Thanks in advance. /John
