Regards the reluctor ring fitting on the front cv ; I read the preceeding words of wisdom and proceeded to change the offside reluctor ring on a 98 diesel, as someone wrotr; the bottom joint does not need splitting, but full lock on the steering is required to move the shaft out of position to get the ring to slip over, persevere with it if necessary raise the mcpherson up and down while the body of the car is raised to find a loosest position.
