  1. Ok, I seached the forum and found the relays and can access them after a bit of difficulty. One forum anwer said to check as follows Phil01 quoted ..... ''after every thing we did we decided to pay thirty five pounds to an auto electrition and have it looked at. he checked all conections and circuits to do with the wipers he found that the relay number 53 on our galaxy or R15 or K175, the relay itself was working but the socket which the relay goes into was not making a full conection. the conectors with in the socket was spread to wide which made no contact with the relay '' Phil01 was successful but I've attempted the same thing, but my relays are labelled totally different but decided to reseat all of them, but still no joy. As there is still a little life left in the wipers ie 1 sweep then they stop for about 30 secs before sweeping again maybe once or twice, I took each relay out one by one to see which one totally killed the wipers. Only one relay did this but it also killed everything else I'm not sure if the relay is located in this area or not. Remember this is also effecting the front demister, also I have checked the relevent fuses. Can anyone suggest anything else to try, much appreciated .. Galaxy 1.9TDi 1999 T reg
  2. I have exacltly the same problem. First started last Jan then was ok until now. Same symptoms, the front wiper works intermittent + front screen demister doesn't work at the same time Have to say I reckon its a relay fault somewhere , but where are the relays located on a Galaxy 1.9TDI 99 ? I know the fuse panel is below the steering wheel and was told by a friend that cpu and relays etc are under passenger seat but there is nothing under there. Appreciate any help on this aswell
  3. I had the same problem last week, high level ok, normal lights dead. I changed the bulbs and all brake lights are now working, however since then I now have the flashing glow plug warning light coming on which is puzzling (the brake switch was changed a year ago so I can't see that being faulty already)
  4. Hi This may help. About a year ago my engine warning lamp started flashing and I suffered loss of power etc. I found the cause of the lamp flashing to be a faulty brake switch on the pedal so I sprayed with WD40 and brake lights worked again and the flashing light went out but I still suffered the loss of power. I then changed the switch all together (costs about
  5. Thanks, I will take a look ( it bombed down with rain last night ) . It is only the drivers side doing it at the mo, so it is likely to be what you said
  6. If I press the window 'up' switch it will get nearly to the top and go down by itself. If I retry a few times eventually it stays where its supposed to. This is only after wet weather so I will take a look under the dash to see if damp is getting in. Thanks for the reply
  7. I sometimes have problems with the electric windows after wet weather. I was told to look at the control unit located under the passenger seat to check if has become damp but it is not under there. I have looked under both front seats but there is nothing there. Please can someone advise as to the location, cheers
