Hi again, Breakdown service just left and thankfully managed to extract key from the driver lock with gentle force (using a pair of pliers). He did try to remove the door card previously but seems to be glued on in places. This maybe a problem in the future as I suspect the issue with the key barrel is still there. So until I figure out what to do, I have put a tape over the key lock to prevent the key being inserted and the same thing happening again. Queenie

I am buying a Ford Galaxy 1.9 TDi. Can anyone comment on whether I should be worried that there is some smoke/fumes visible when the oil cap is removed when the engine is running ? There is also a hint of this also when the dip stick is removed. Should I be concerned ? Planning to buy tommorrow (Monday). :lol:
