I spoke to someone who works at a ford garage today and he said theyve had the same problem once it turned out to be a valve spring. So i guess its cam covers of time to have a look hohum what joys its a head of time.

I should have said ive tried another set of leads it didnt make a difference i guess i could just get a set to make sure.
