Hi baz, I really don't know how people get the same fuel consumption time after time when towing as it fluctuates so much due to various factors such as wind direction, road conditions, inclines etc. With our present car, a C4 Picasso, the consumption ranges from 24.8mpg to 36.2mpg at best. I believe that the Picasso has the same engine as the 2.0l Diesel Titanium X I have on order so I expect somewhere near the same. All of my last three cars, 2 Citroens and a Peugeot have regularly given me better than the manufacturer's consumption figures, Regards, Ian.
