Thanks for the advice. I went back to National Tyres who told me that according to their info the tyre was ok, but after they telephoned the regional office for advice they have agreed to replace it. They have also given me a good price on the other tyres. Thanks again.

I have a Galaxy 2.3 Ghia which has done 36000 miles and is due a 4 year service. I am struggling to find answers to some questions. The service guide is completely unclear with a lot of abbreviations for which there are no explanations. I am fed up of phoning the local dealership and getting cut off
