Just bought an 08 plate Zetec 2.0 TDI from a car supermarket & new to this site. When we press the key fob to lock & arm the alarm the indicator lights do not flash as they should (they do when you disarm). Also the red 'i' indicator on the dash flashes once the car is locked. To be clear the car does lock and we have tested the alarm also, it's just that it should flash so that you know visually it is locked. Also very occasionally the car has drawn a blank on turning the ignition - next turn it starts Reading through this forum there does seem to be lots of electrical type faults. Any ideas? Thanks
