:rolleyes: Thjanks for all your help but I think I am going for a new master cylinder as marcusheawood said how can air have got into the system when no bleed nipples were undone and no slave cylinder pistons came out Thanks again for all your coments and help GREAT SITE FOR GALAXY OWNERS

Can anyone help me please I renewed all my brake pads at the weekend after which if the engine is running the brake pedal travels all the way to the floor if I leave the engine off the brake pedal feels normal. I put the old pads back on but the problem is still there. Ford have said its the master cylinder but it seems odd that the pedal feels normal with the engine not running Any help would be appreciated
