i got a replacement relay 30 from vw parts as my local ford dealer would have to order one in :rolleyes: part number from vw is 165 906 381. cost me about

sorted now, autoelectrics guy found antenna and immob not connected to main ecu, mechanic obviously disconnected these as they are by the clutch pedal.. thanks for all the help

got an auto electrics guy coming wednesday...might be in the scrap yard by the weekend

just had another look and there is a wiring loom that has a connector that sits on top of the gearbox.any ideas what and where these wires control/go?

He did disconnect some wires when he lowered the gearbox but he said he has double checked all the connections?

Tried another key.

Update: had the rac out to have a look at galaxy. code that came up was u1451 has anyone else had this problem??

we have rac cover so might try them. a friend has mentioned that the earth wire from the starter motor might be loose and causing the problem?

The clutch on our Galaxy (p Reg) has just been replaced and after out friend fitted it and tried starting the car, the immobiliser kicks in around 2 seconds after turning the ignition!! I honestly have no idea about cars and my friend has tried everything he can think of to fix it!! Have been stuck without a car for 2 weeks now and with 4 kids its been a nightmare!! Any help is very much appreciated :)
