Good Morning, This is my first time on this forum. My wife has a 1999 T reg Ford Galaxy 2.3GhiaX. She loves this car and will not consider getting a new one. It has covered 85000 miles and has been pretty much problem free for a car of this age. It has had a new wiper motor about 6 months ago as they just stopped suddenly, it has now however developed a problem with the wipers themselves. There is no pattern that i can see, but the wipers will just come on when ever they feel like it. Pressing the wiper switch doesn't seem to make much of a difference. Sometimes it seems to stop them but i wonder if they would have just stopped anyway! Turning corners doesn't make a difference either. This problem can be just a quick wipe or can carry on going like this morning. a 5 min journey to school with a very clear windscreen!! Can anyone help with this as i did own a older VW Sharan years ago and it developed electrical problems with windows which this is seeming to do to. This costme a lot of money as they had to replace the whole wiring loom. The Air con compressor needs sorting too but this will cost at least
