Hi Everyone. As per last 2 posts by me - Ford Galaxy w reg (2000) 1.9tdi (vw engine) I have no central locking OR electric windows working. I have had the door wires checked out by 3 auto electricians and to no avail. I have purchased a 2nd hand multi function control module which is behind the fuse box from a galaxy where central locking and windows worked - fitted it and still nothing worked - so changed it back !! Now my Brake lights are really dim as well - any help would be appreciated - if i dont sort soon i will have to cut my losses and put down to bad experience and not purchase another one !! - please Help !!

Hi everyone. w reg 2000 1.9tdi Galaxy 115bhp. Central Locking , and electric windows are not working - i have checked all the door wires and even tried a replacement door wiring loom and to no avail. I have checked all the fuses and none blown & and i have even tried a replacement multifunction control module from behind the fuse box and unfortunately all to no avail. What can i try next to get them working ????

Hi Everyone. W Reg 2000 Galaxy requiring multifuction control module - if i purchase a secondhand unit - what do i need to do to fit - i have been told that all i have to do is disconnect the battery and that no reprogramming is needed - is this right ?? - HELP !!

Hi thanksfor reply. Yes it was tested properly and had 12v at ground and at module and in the drivers door - what can i do to use a second hand one. Really appreciate the help & ps i actually do like the car , was just upset & really hope there there is a inexpensive cure. Thankyou again

Hi Everyone - w reg Galaxy tdi here 115bhp Central locking , windows and mirrors not working. All tested at auto electrician and he says the multifunction control module has gone behind the fuse box. Says it need new part and has to be programmed by Ford garage 658 quid for the part and then the price to have reprogrammed !! Is this right ?? can i fit a second hand one and does it actually need programming - said i would never buy another ford - Oh my God - i wish i had stuck to my words - what a pile of rubbish !!!!!

Hi Everyone. Trusty 1.9 tdi Galaxy 2000 - W Reg - Central Locking , Electric windows and electric Mirrors wont work. Have checked all fuses and have checked for broken wires - all to no avail !! ECU not under seat on this model !! What shall i check next - any ideas ??
