  1. Hi, I was washing the car at the weekend and found grease all over the outside of the passenger side front wheel. Didn't get a chance to look further due to the weather but assumed it would be a burst CV boot. Finally had a look and the boot is perfect and there is no grease on the inside of the wheel or anywhere else, just the outside face. Couldn't think where else it could have come from so popped the centre cap off, not sure if it's any more greasy than normal but I noticed marks around the centre bolt. There's slightly polished clean bits as can be seen in the photo as if there's been movement. I can't feel any movement, the bolt is tight and can't think of any reason that would have been a tool used on it recently. Should I be worried? Any advice much appreciated. Cheers...
  2. After having a look around it seems to fit exactly the same way as a Mk2 Galaxy. After removing the three bolts behind the cluster and the bumber bracket bolt below the trim panel, the bumper bracket is still in the way. I'm worried about breaking the bracket and ending up with a saggy bumper, especially in this cold weather. Has anyone done this on a Galaxy who could offer advice? Many thanks....
  3. Hi, I thought I would replace the cracked tail light on my Mk2 Alhambra today assuming it would be a simple job. I was surprised to find the rear bumper bracket in the way. Does anyone know if the bumper has to be removed or is there another way to do it? Thanks.
  4. Hi, Just had a few weird electrical problems and thanks to this forum have traced it to the common melting fuse box problem. The alternator to fuse box cable is getting very hot but the box itself hasn't started melting yet. Could I get away with getting the cable cut and a new end put on by an auto electrician? The fuse box looks ok. Thanks....
  5. Thanks, job done.
  6. Hi, Sorry I'm probably being a bit thick but how do you drain the radiator on a 2000 1.9TDi? I've done it before on a few older cars but the Galaxy seems to have a lot of pipework! I was advised to undo one of the lower hoses, the fattest ones, but nothing came out. From reading other posts I suspect these were connected to the intercooler. Which hose will drain the radiator and where is it? I'd like to have another go tomorrow if I know where to look. Any help appreciated. Thanks....
