  1. I can confirm that the fasteners are the XZN type: I have just completed the job, and am very pleased with the Ford dog guard. The instructions weren't up to much though; it was almost easier to figure it out without them.
  2. Many thanks Rodders. I spent ages searching around the web, but you seem to have hit the nail right on the head. I have ordered a set of xzn bits from Amazon for delivery tomorrow. I squeezed under the deadline for delivery by 21 minutes, so thanks again for posting so swiftly.
  3. I am trying to fit a genuine Ford dog guard to my 2003 53 plate Galaxy. It needs the upper seat belt anchors on the C pillar to be replaced with a longer bolt, but I am baffled by the type of fixing used on the old bolt I need to remove. It isn't a TX5, or TX5.5, but is somewhere between the two with what looks like 12 points to the 6 on a TX fixing. Can anyone help with a name for this type of fastening? Thanks in anticipation.
