Whatever the PCM is, I must have upset it, as today a miracle has happened. On a 30 mile journey to birmingham, at 70mph on the motorway, it gave 45.4 to the gallon. On the return journey, at 58mph in cruise control, an astounding 53.7 to the gallon. The Ford God must have heard my plea. Lets hope this good fuel consumption continues. will save me a fortune.

Evening Smilge, Sorry to be a bit thick, but what is a PCM. On an earlier post you state that you get 37mpg towing a caravan. Can you please please give me some tips. We tow our van all over and I cannot get 30 per gallon. Ist november we are off to southern spain for the winter with the van, so any advice on getting more to the gallon will be most appreciated. Evening ,With the new galaxy, does anyone know if sticking beam benders to the headlight glass/plastic will cause any problems. I know on older cars there was never a problem, but with the new cars I am not sure what the headlights are made from. Cheers

I wish my calaxy would do the mpg that some of you acheive. Its only done 3000 miles, but around town, fast on the motorway or a steady 50 in cruise control it never gives more than 33mpg. Both computer and actual fill ups give the same figure. Into Ford and they say, "nothing wrong with car".Suprise, suprise. So I paid
