The mileage is only 30000. (48000 km) It sounds like some slack in the transmission. It is becomes more noticeable first after a couple of miles. Like something that has to be heating up first? I had to replace the drive shaft on the right side a month ago, the inner knuckle joint was damaged due to entrance of water (according to the garage people where i bought it). They replaced it with a shaft from a 2006mod. Galaxy they had for sale. The mileage was appr. the same (they claim !?) JV

I experience a "clunk" noise when shifting gear and releasing the clutch. If I do this carefully I can avoid this. It sounds like it comes from the gearbox or might the shafts. Is this a known problem on the Galaxy (2007-mod.)? JV
